A FORMER member of the British National Party (BNP) has said members are living in fear after their personal details were publicised.

A list of all BNP members posted on the internet, revealed 34 secret supporters within North Lincolnshire.

Sean Hadley (37), from Scunthorpe, who was the North Lincolnshire BNP candidate at the last election, was among them.

He claimed he had received 'dodgy' calls since the publication of the document.

"I think a lot of people are scared right now. People on that list are just normal people, but because of their political beliefs they are facing threats of violence," he said.

"Of course people are worried, they are living in fear of something happening– I haven't been threatened this time, but I've had dodgy calls because of it."

Despite stepping down as a member because he does not back party leader Nick Griffin, Mr Hadley said the BNP still had his full support.

The far right party has recently tried to shed its extremist image, but BNP policy still calls for an immediate halt to immigration and 'firm but voluntary incentives for immigrants and their descendants to return home'.
